
The Profith Research Group Receives Award from Fundación España Activa
The group received the award in the Research, Innovation, and Dissemination category for its scientific contributions toward creating a healthier society.
The Profith Research Group at the University of Granada has been recognized by Fundación España Activa in the Research, Innovation, and Dissemination category “for its scientific contributions toward creating a healthier society through the study of the beneficial effects of physical activity and exercise in individuals with and without disease, across different population groups throughout the lifespan.” Profith is co-directed by UGR Professors Jonatan Ruiz and Francisco B. Ortega, both from the Faculty of Sport Sciences.
The award ceremony took place during the VII Fundación España Activa Awards Gala, held on November 28, 2024, at the Intercontinental Hotel in Madrid.
