Specifically, the project will aim to train teachers with new skills and knowledge for promoting well-being in the classroom and at the educational center. This will be achieved through an effective participation process involving co-design and implementation of interventions based on the development of a “school well-being kit” that includes materials, guidance, and instructions for replication in other educational centers in the European Union.
This project arises from the alliance of municipalities, primary and secondary education centers, and higher education centers involving the University of Granada (Spain), Lulea Kommungruskola and Lulea TekniskaUnivesitet (Sweden), Sweden Emilia Romagna Network and IstitutoComprensivo Leonardo Da Vinci (Italy), and Daugavpils lespëjuvidusskola (Latvia). The University of Granada will participate through the Faculty of Sports Sciences (Palma ChillónGarzón, Manuel Delgado Fernández, and Pablo Campos Garzón) and the La Inmaculada Teacher Training Center (Francisco Javier Huertas Delgado, Manuel HerradorColmenero, and Ana Ruiz Alarcón).
Therefore, this project will develop a series of training materials for teachers, professors, and educational center administrators, as well as a set of useful tools for students, with the aim of promoting school well-being in primary and secondary educational centers.
