The University of Granada (UGR) has once again positioned itself among the leading institutions at the international level in the field of Sport Sciences.

In the latest edition of the 2025 Shanghai Ranking, in the area of Sport Science Schools and Departments (Faculties and Departments of Sport Sciences), the UGR has reached 16th place worldwide, consolidating itself once again as the leading university in Spain in this discipline and reaffirming its academic and scientific excellence.

This result reinforces the University of Granada’s trajectory of excellence, as it has remained consistently among the top 20 universities worldwide since 2022, consolidating its position as an international reference in Sport Sciences.
