Speaker: Pauline Hotterbeex
She holds a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and is currently pursuing a PhD in Biomedical and Health Sciences at KU Leuven and Ghent University (Belgium). Her research explores the potential of combining physical and cognitive activity to improve cognitive functioning in older adults, with a strong focus on real-life implementation. She is currently in the final year of her PhD, completing analyses before writing and submitting her dissertation in early 2025.

Ramón y Cajal Researcher at the University of Granada (Spain). She has previously worked as a researcher at the Center for Cognitive and Brain Health, Northeastern University (Boston, USA), and held several prestigious fellowships at the University of Granada (Juan de la Cierva-Training and Juan de la Cierva-Incorporation). She has conducted research stays at the University of Pittsburgh (USA), Monash University (Australia), University of Porto (Portugal), Federal University of Pelotas (Brazil), and University of California San Diego (USA). She is a full member of the Young Academy of Spain.
