RESEARCH SEMINAR:

"ACTIVE COMMUTING TO SCHOOL: UPDATES”

A research seminar entitled; “Active Commuting to School: Updates” was developed on April 5 at the iMUDS, organised by the PROFITH research group, with the collaboration of the Department of Physical Education and Sports, and the Scientific Unit of Excellence: Exercise and Health (UCEES).

The program is detailed below:

  • MSc. Patricia Gálvez (University of Granada): “Secular changes in the rates of active commuting to school in Spanish children and adolescents in the last decade (2006-2017)”.

  • Dr. Emilio Villa González (University of Granada): “Systematic review of interventions for promoting active school transport ”.

  • Dr. María Paula Santos (University of Porto): “Cities and health: challenging relationship”.
