Juan Manuel Alcántara Alcántara has a degree in Physical Education from the University of Cordoba (2012), and a second degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences from the Catholic University of Valencia San Vicente Mártir (2014). Later, he did a Master on Physical Activity and Sport at the University of Granada (2015). Since 2016, he is doing his doctoral thesis about the effect of protein ingestion on of muscle function recovery after an acute exercise in humans.

  • His main research areas cover:
    • the effects of exercise on muscle function,
    • exercise training in obese people and
    • conditioning training.
